Description
The proboscis monkey is a distinctive primate native to Borneo, famous for its unusually large, elongated nose, reddish-brown fur, and pot-shaped belly. It lives mainly in mangrove forests and wetlands, feeding on leaves, fruits, and seeds. These social monkeys are excellent swimmers and often live in groups near rivers.
